Your hair extensions do not need to be washed frequently, we recommend washing them once after every 15-20 wears. When washing them it's extremely important to make sure you use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner only. This is critical as using any products that contain harsh chemicals can strip natural oils from the hair leaving it dry and brittle.
Once having washed your hair extensions, you should gently brush through each weft from top to bottom and leave them to dry. Once they are fully dry your hair extensions will be clean, silky smooth and ready to use.
Yes you can, Ava Hair extensions are 100% remy human hair and can be treated just like your own hair. We suggest that you use a heat protectant spray prior to styling your extensions.
We also recommend that you use a low heat setting, to prolong the lifespan of your hair extensions. This is recommended as with using hot tools on any hair at a high temperature, can cause damage to the hair.
The life-span of your hair extensions will depend on how well you take care of them, how often you use them, and what products you use on them. Ava Hair extensions are made from the highest quality 100% remy human hair, which means you need to care for them just like your normal hair. Typically you can expect them to last for 3-6 months, and up to 1 year depending on how well they are looked after.
